Errata

Every correction made to a published record after it went live is listed here, with what the register said, what the source says, and the source that settled it. Corrections found by the blind accuracy audit are listed alongside those reported by readers. Nothing is corrected silently.

No corrections recorded yet. This page went up with the accuracy audit, on 1 September 2026, and will fill as the audit and readers turn things up. An empty register this early means the checking has only just begun, not that the register is clean.

How corrections are found

Two ways. A blind sample of 100 of the 672 records was drawn on 1 September 2026, committed to the public repository with its checksum before any of it was checked, and is being verified field by field against the land case files; see section 10 of the Sources and Method page. And readers write in. If a grant here contradicts a document you hold, the document wins: aodhancoyne@gmail.com.

What counts as an erratum

A value that was published and is wrong. A field left blank because no source states it is not an error, and is not listed here. Where the register and a source disagree about a grant, the land case file is the authority.
